Edward Maximilian Sene aka. SEXMANE
Edward Maximilian Sene, professionally known as Sexmane, emerged on the Finnish music scene in 2019 with his debut album "Sextape." Born on October 13th, 2000, in Siilinjärvi, Finland, to a Laestadian family of Senegalese and Finnish descent, Sene's diverse background influences his unique musical style.
Starting his musical journey in 2016, Sene gained widespread recognition with "Sextape," which spent 80 weeks on Finland's album chart and achieved gold status in streams. His track "Mama" amassed over 11 million listens on Spotify. In 2021, his second album, "Väärinymmärretty," earned him four Emma Award nominations.
Recently announced as a participant in Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2024, Finland's Eurovision selection, Sexmane continues to push boundaries in the music industry. Alongside his musical pursuits, he values family, including his siblings, one of whom, Isaac, shares his passion for music.
